The 1911-12 touring company of Peter Pan featured such regulars as Pauline Chase, George Shelton, William Luff, John Kelt, Violet Hollom, and James English. Oh yes, and of course, Jane Wren…tee hee hee. The tour included such cities as Kennington, North London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds, and Bristol, where the company performed at the Prince’s Theatre. The one programme I have of this period is from Monday, April 8, 1912; which was advertised as an “Enormous Attraction for the Easter Holidays! For Six Nights at 7:30, and Two Matinees, Thursday, April 11th, and Saturday, April 13th at 2. The production was still under the direction of Dion Boucicault.
