100+ Years of Peter Pan

Welcome Peter Pan fans to what I hope will be “an awfully big adventure!”

Illustration by W.W. Lendon from J.M. Barrie and the Theatre, by H.M. Walbrook (1922)

In three months my book, Peter Pan on Stage and Screen: 1904-2010, will be published by MacFarland Publishing. A revised, updated, and much expanded version of The Peter Pan Chronicles, this new publication includes many more photographs (black & white and color), behind-the-scene stories, and cast information than the first edition. Still, as no book could possibly include the plethora of ephemera and anectdotes related to Peter Pan’s appearances on the stage and screen, I have decided to create this blog where I will share information and illustrations not included in the book.

Incidently, the book will be available in July at several sites including the following:

  1. Hi Bruce –
It was great meeting you on the beach! I hope you enjoyed your stay.
Chincoteague is such a lovely little town/island. I can’t wait to go back.
There’s some good pics of the sand castle – I want to tweak them a little and send them to you.
I would love to see some pics of the Flossies house..:)
I’m sure you’re running around getting ready for school.
    Take care Sweetie!
